I think it's mainly bc it's two guys w a strong bond in a yaoi comic, I don't see the appeal especially since smth clearly happens for them to not fw each other anymore, not to mention I love the TA with Uyun. but I also don't rlly blame ppl for shipping the TA and Seongrik tgt, I mean it's two broken teenagers from screwed up homes finding comfort in someone so different yet so similar to them, and they look at each other as family that they've never truly had, that in of itself sounds like a bl romance drama waiting to happen.

it kind of looks like jinhyeong views them as brothers while songrik sees jinhyeong as something more… in songrik’s mind, they would be lifetime companions and simply use “brothers” to explain away people who question them. meanwhile, jinhyeong thinks they will both get married to other people while being together, lol… i think their relationship is charming but i don’t see it being requited. and if it turns out to be, well… clearly something happened that put it to an end. i don’t think it’s wrong for someone to have had a close relationship in the past.
while we tend to think of Brothers as a solid concept of blood relation, in korea particularly that isn’t always the case. that’s why it’s common for a younger boy to call his older friend hyung when they’re close, or why girls may call their boyfriend oppa. they aren’t related, but it’s a show of affection, respect, proximity

I think you’re only saying that because you KNOW uyun exists in the future for him. Had this been an independent story on its own, down act like you wouldn’t ship it…. this is a place where BL fans gather so if ppl see chemistry and cute moments, ppl will ship…

That being said, I agree that uyun is the only one for him and I’m glad it turned out the way it did. I also think the author is going for only a brotherly bond here. But ppl can fantasize lmfao
