I said many chapters back that I didn't want to see a redemption arc but damn, these chapters hit so hard when you realize he was just trying his best...
Garhan has always been a really well written character. In my eyes, he's done what he could and did it to his best power. From this arc alone, it could somehow hint that a majority of his actions in the previous chapters were none of his own choice. If he's missing memories now, who knows how much he's actually missing.
Poor garhan. I won't justify his actions but he's indeed a morally grey character from the start. Zenovia and Omphalus were the one orchestrating everything. Lowkey eager to read the rest of the story in the novel but I don't want to either
