My opinion on the hate and ships????

To be honest, I don’t really get the hate on the blonde guy. He genuinely just wants to help his friends and make sure they all survive. Yeah, sometimes he can be a bit much, but he’s not a bad person at all. In fact, it’s kind of sweet—he’s like a kid who just wants to do whatever he can to protect the people he cares about.

And honestly, you could say the same thing about the main character. She keeps trying to sacrifice herself for her friends, but no one seems to have a problem with that. Yet when the blonde guy tries to help, suddenly it’s an issue?
Like yes he plays hero a lot but he doesn’t mean any harm behind it and doesn’t really cause any harm when he helps so I don’t see the problem?

Also
I get it—some of y’all really want the MC and the black-haired girl to be a couple because you’re hoping for that ship to happen. But to me, it feels way more like a deep platonic friendship than anything romantic. Actually, I don’t really see the MC with anyone, not even the guys. She’s just focused on surviving, helping her friends, and finding her uncle. So honestly, I don’t think romance is even part of the story right now.

But I know a lot of people are still shipping her with the black-haired girl anyway.

(I'm still at chapter 21 so idk if she sacrificed herself or something BUT so far from what I read) There's a difference the mc and the blonde guy. From ur statement, I'm gonna assume that the mc will sacrifice herself for her FRIENDS. Friends meaning the group of ppl who she's close with(Assumingly since I'm only at chp.21). So probably the black hair girl, black hair dude, and blonde guy, correct? If the mc sacrificed herself for her close friends, I don't rlly find that annoying(not that I'm saying the blonde guy deserves to be hated, but I can see why there's a lot of complaints.) cuz I'd personally do it too. BUTT, from what I read so far, the blonde guy alrdy almost got himself killed cuz he tried saving those ppl in the gym. Sooo, I'm gonna assume that this is a frequent occurrence.. and thinking about it, yeah it can be rlly annoying, especially towards his close friends who will be very worried about him, or maybe there will be a time where he can't help helping others so he'd delay their plan(their as in the mc and their other close friends). I'm just assuming since it's pretty predictable on what's gonna happen with that kind of characters. Now, going back to the mc.. the mc will probably not do that(reminder again, I'm still at chp.21!), cuz she prioritizes her close friends. That's the difference, that is why u can't rllyyyy use the mc as an example to compare with the blonde guy. Now, I do understand why he's character is like this given his backstory, but nonetheless, it's pretty annoying from a reader's standpoint cuz he is one of the lead characters.

Okay I read through some comments, and one person mentioned that the Blondie would risk everyone's lives just to save this one person.. now I understand why it's annoying. He has that "I need to save everyone!!" character. And one person stated that he does a lot of things that puts the mc in danger?? Idk if this is all true, but if it is.. then my assumption is correct. This kind of character is indeed a good person, saving everyone and leaving none.. and ik I'm heartless for saying this, but that is indeed annoying. He's lucky cuz he got the protagonist shield.
