Overall this was a pleasant read, I would recommend, but I do have some grievances with it that I need to confess:

First is how trivialized the cheating was treated in this story. Ml's brother was treated as a one dimensional bad guy when his backstory had the perfect setup for a complex and deep victim turned perpetrator character. I mean, his father used his mother's family's money to get rich, then cheated on her and made a child with another woman when she was SICK AND DYING, then immediately brought the mistress and the child home right after she died, no grieving, no respect, and he kept his position as president all throughout. I would've been pissed too. I'm not saying he was justified, as he misdirected his anger at his brother who wasn't at fault for being born who he was, but I HATE how he was portrayed as nothing but an entitled, envious villain rather than a betrayed child that didn't even have time to grieve his mother and went down the wrong path. Massive missed opportunity.
Second is how the ml was characterized. He was initially a creepy stalker who bribed mc's acquaintances, threatened him to work for him and then forced him to relive his worst trauma by making another zombie, but he IMMEDIATELY shifts completely into a perfectly good person for several dozen chapters after that with no indication of his previous personality. I was convinced his personality had been retconned until it got brought up again many chapters later and?? Resolved?? Apparently? Like it felt really sudden and I get he was doing it to control mc, but there should've been at least subtle hints of his true intentions to keep his character consistent. Also, he didn't even apologize for what he did, he was just like "I genuinely love you now, no more acting" and apparently that absolved him of all the fucked up shit he did to mc. Mc is also weird in that sense, as he immediately started trusting ml after joining Chord and let him drag him around for clothing, food, touch and him and responded positively to his flirting. That made NO sense dude, especially for someone who's been as isolated and traumatized and distrustful as mc, his actions didn't match how he had acted merely a few chapters prior.
Oh and they cut all the smut, the yaoi tag is probably bc of the implication of sex but there isn't anything explicit shown, so if you wanted to see some light sabers this is not for you.
