Can you explain a little bit? I didn't understand but I do agree
He’s been in love with her his whole life. It makes sense that he would want to cut things off if she doesn’t reciprocate or at least give them some distance so he can truly get over his feelings. With the main character, it was a bit annoying for her, not to know her feelings and to be like maybe yes maybe no but it’s her first relationship and he has been her childhood best friend her whole life. It was hard for her to find a switch and to be attracted to him. I do think the first 10 chapters were kind of annoying and I didn’t like any of the characters, but after that, the development was just amazing and we get to see both the personalities and their dynamic really fits each other.
The FL is a push over and is really wishy washy with her decisions so that gets on my nerves. And what really makes me mad is the ML is supposed to be her childhood best friend but with the possibility of not dating her he threatens to never see her again. Like, gurl that just means you never actually cared about her. What a huge betrayal of a friendship that lasted over 20 years. He sucks.
