Not everyone likes him. I mean that one guy didn’t right off the bat.

Wdym?Only his mate love him. The rest are either friends ot helping him. Even Baro took a while to like him.

I mean Baro did, and now Dyne as well, it's been awhile since I read this series too but I can remember thinking like "ugh not again" it just that these people could've been only respect him without actually getting attracted to him.... It's like the attraction muddle the good feeling of them getting along, if that make sense? Ofc like I say, this is just my preference

I can see where you’re coming from. But I mean like a whole lot of people don’t like him technically, if the beastmen don’t like the royal family then technically they don’t like him either. Also I do believe one of his like big character traits is that he’s likable and a people pleaser

Ofc it's not like I want everyone to dislike him either, I like it when people respect MC from what they did. And for this story specifically it's even established at the start that he's popular with girls right? Ig I'm just sick with the "omg MC is so different than anyone I know I feel like my heart is racing, why am I thinking of them?" Type of cliche from the side characters or least the bigger character that's not extra, it doesn't really feel that much different if it's done from extra characters rather than a bigger character, if that make sense?

Like I say ofc this is just personal preference, I really like it better if it's all just respect or platonic
