I think its bc the ML was a bit douchey in the beginning and some people aren't willing to stick around until things get better

i never trust the rating bc people give high rating to literal trash and low to masterpieces so i dont think u should go by the rating bc you will miss so many good works

Preach. I don’t trust ratings, some extremely mid stories get such high ratings and some really interesting ones get like 8

Also I think an 8.9 rating isn't really that low tbh since most of the BLs that get a 9.0+ rating are the ones with very green flag tops and dynamics ╮(￣▽￣)╭
