honestly, the ml may be absolutely pathetic, but at least he's not neglectful for long, he's not downright abusive, he put an end to his previous relationship as soon as he got married, he can actually recognize his feelings, he accepts his flaws and strives to be better (just started to be better lol), he's honest with the fl and he's pitifully cute.
the fl is so competent that it would make no sense for her to have a perfect and as competent husband, having a pathetic wet dog of a husband to tame seems perfect for her lol.
