I am not eating my words even after spoilers. He treated her like trash and never actually explained what was happening. ML still sucks even because he knew how much he hurt her and still made fun of her and laughed at her. Boo boo but doesn’t mean you get to laugh at someone’s pain you inflicted. Taehoon still sucks and so does the ML.

He fought his friend for FL. And he rekindled that friendship after hearing about all the stuff he went through. ML was wrong for what he did but that doesn’t make him a red flag. That’s not how the term is used. There’s a huge difference between being a red flag and acting like a red flag in one single moment of their life. If you think about it the only red flag thing ML did was that he ghosted and acted like an asshole. He didn’t cheat. So it wouldn’t make sense to drop a longtime friend he knows better, for a friend of a friend he’s not even close with.
It’s weird to surround yourself with trash people so it’s weird Taehoon stayed friends with seowoo. If your friends with a red flag you also are a red flag. Didn’t try to make him apologize or anything. Guilty by association. Taehoon sucks and he’s probably cheating.
