Original thing, novels, have more depth. These adaptations are usually not good and often toned down or stray from original, unfortunately. I’d always prefer reading novel first if translation is available(not mtl).

Yea I try to read the novels whenever I'm interested in the stories but this one, the artist skips a lot of details. Like the characters (MC/ML) just exist without proper introduction, backgrounds and information.
There's also alot of things going on beside MC n ML stories, the King, ML's wife and the nobles in the palace. They have 0 or barely any mention in this adaptation

No hate but I saw someone said there's more information and details in the novel. So I read the novel and the artist indeed took away A LOT of information.
Like why chapter 1 literally skips 3 whole chapters in the novel tfff?
The ML also has more emotions and thoughts shown in the novel than here. There's barely any details about the overall relationships between characters when the artist draw this.
