Okay so there will be next life and the mc will die
So our mcs hunch is kinda correct that the ml also have grudge and thirst for revenge to the mc because of family matters the mc is part of the fault there.
The incident occurs when they're still young and the mc totally forgotten about it and he's not in his right sane state at that time, idk too. But if I'm not mistaken he was the one who agree to exile the ml(young) at that time.
