I feel like Rik is too hurt to even think about how JH is feeling. I don't think he could ever understand why JH would even want his father's approval after everything his dad put him through as he would never want it (otta remember Rik thought they were on the same page when it comes to hating their fathers). So when JH tells him to not talk badly about his family and how he's not going to run away with him, Rik feels as if JH has betrayed him and wants him to feel the same pain as he did. I honestly wonder if the author will have them meet again after this flashback and how it will be handled.

i understand why seongrik was hurt but surely he realises that jinhyeongs desire to stay with his dad is because of the attention and positive comments that hes receiving after being mentally abused all of these years. he used jinhyeongs trauma against him and its such a horrible thing to do. at first i was sad that they wouldnt be friends by the end of this flashback but now im highkey glad
