I feel like he was inconsiderate of her and she had to compromise a lot? Like with the pork thing what if they hadn't eaten pork in 5 years lol. Maybe she likes pork and he didn't care and stuff. And she said why should she take care of him? Prolly the effort didn't feel reciprocated. I sense there's more to their story.

we don't know the complete story about the friend's breakup, we just know his POV... what if he was a bad bad boyfriend and she just kept waiting for him to improve... and 5 years was when she got tired and stopped caring... he never say anything about himself... soooo...
