he’s way too traumatized to see the right path and is filled with so much hate for the world but also so much love to give to jinhyeong which he couldn’t also give it away too easily because he’s too vulnerable and too afraid of losing it again after getting his hopes up (I mean it is what’s happening rn tho)
rik is just a yandere. he is blinded by his own trauma and so would rather force jinhyeong to suffer wallow in their misery with him and to rather then try and improve together. i think he loves him (either romantically or platonically) and doesn’t understand why he’s so betrayed by small things
