If this were another manga it would be a porn without plot story, but this somehow took the concept of sex to be about intimacy, honesty, openness, and the truth about how sex between partners esp at first can be embarrassing, exposing, and even feel scary with the unknown factor and the vulnerability throughout.
I found the whole plot very emotionally touching and unexpectedly real for something that elsewhere and done by a different author, may have become either funny but not substantial piece, or kind of fan service sex story and that’s it.

I’m glad it was more and they proceeded carefully. How they talked about it not being his original partners fault per se and showed how important communication between both partners is, and how sex is can be something that should be done together as a team. I also think the housekeeper element showed that both men had a relationship of trust and interest even outside of the “night” services.
I liked how they didn’t paint him as a promiscuous sex-addict character who wanted to get paid for sleeping around and made it seem like a normal job that he engaged in bc it suited him, and decided to stop when it didn’t fit with what he wanted to do anymore—not because he was against the concept of his job or his partner asked him to leave. It felt more like he just wanted to be able to dote on his partner and make him happy over his priority instead of making everyone happy all the time. It was very refreshing.
Only critique us that it would have been nice to know the characters even more but I also feel they shared just enough for the plot
