I also don't like when Authors use characters as a device to move the plot along but at the expense of their IQs, it's funny and all but I felt like it's been overused. It's the same as "I never had sex, lemme practice on you" trope, I honestly don't know how does that work.

Wooju is cute and all but the Author had overuse that clueless and blindsided attitude of him— just so he could open this plot points into the story. He could be trusting and naive but he's also fierce which is contradictory to his overall character. It's like he gives off a reliable college student with a bit of attitude to stupidly naive and dumbass person in the room.

How could he have sex with his childhood friend? How could he drink something he doesn't know of? There could be many reasonings to lead up to this but it's an obviously shitty and stupid choices in the end.

The medicine had nothing to do with it, it made him forget things not put two and two together... and it's unfortunate a trait used to help out the plot

Wooju was brought up to be trusting and to always see the good in people, so he wasn't capable of imagining people doing weird shit to him. So of course he'd be innocent and take things at face value. Now of course, the drug's making his self awareness lower and his memory's not on point, but this is also because he blindly trusts his childhood friend to want the best for him (which we obviously know isn't true). He has a limited understanding of how humans can harm one another and sure, if you wanna call that low IQ or him being dumb that's your opinion, but it's honestly just the psychological backround he has being protected as a kid

I would agree with this to some extent had he not gone through an incredibly traumatizing experience of being KIDNAPPED and held hostage. He has more than enough understanding about how humans can harm others. That's besides the point. I'm not calling him dumb for trusting his childhood friend or taking the medicine. I'm calling him dumb because quite literally every decision he has made outside of that has just been a headache. On top of that hes inability to see the professor is an absolute weirdo is blowing me away. So yeah I think hes being dumb
