Smoking guy took a video of the whole thing.,,actually I think it was a friend that was at the apartment who took the video of ml getting angry then ml and mc holding hands and walking out

That's what I was thinking it was, but it seemed like the story was foreshadowing something bad was about to happen, and I couldn't fathom how that video of them being assholes to the MC was gonna be a problem. Are we sure there isn't something else going on?
