but I think in her case it’s no longer just laziness, it’s sloth which is lack of care for moral and duty.
Avoidance of Responsibility Ignoring or shirking duties, especially when those duties are part of one’s calling, family, or community obligations.
Wasting One’s Potential, Choosing comfort or distraction over effort, creativity, or purpose. Not using one’s gifts to help others or to fulfill a meaningful role in the world.
People wasting their life away, and sometimes even hurt people around them, just to choose apathy because it’s easier, that could not be described as simple laziness.

Depends, it’s not like she grow up in an environment where she couldn’t have known any better, neither did she have any medical issues, she didn’t even have any doubts, immediately believing everything that guy told her because it’s what she wanted to hear, even when her mother crying on her door step for her sake she didn’t react.
In the end of the day, living in your own world is not an excuse, and just because someone told you to do it doesn’t shrinks any of the blame, because you still did it.
Laziness itself is not necessary bad but if you made it reach the point where it becomes Sloth then you are just wasting away, and making people worry about you, and work twice as hard to care for you, and most of them will eventually get sick of that.
Imma be honest the sister is kinda relatable, the lazy part of things and just falling deeper and deeper into laziness to the point you don’t even think you should try
