In all seriousness

Anyone miss the old art with the more comedic scenes as well as less distracting symbols in the background and stuff. The art is beautiful it's just that sometimes I can tell when stuff are not naturally drawn as an artist myself. For instance the sardines in ohara father's meal, I understamd the artist may lack the time to make the panels cohesive or draw every single detail perfectly but back then I feel like everything was drawn so natrually without feeling like too much. Nonetheless the art is truly something precious coming from a manhwa of this length and complexity, I also just perfer the subdued anime/webtoon style rather than the glowing sparkling eyeball with every eyelash enhanced and sparse backgrounds. Somewhere between the epilouges for season 1 or 2 the artwork started to incorporate the new style but u still feel like it was a better blend of enhancing the faces while still keeping old components I loved from the art before. Shuri is stunning on every panel don't get me wrong but it feels like she's lost her edge.

i think it’s because they’re trying to create an atmosphere fitting to the current arc. the chapters before the arc had more cartoonish/funny drawings and panels which fit the storyline at the time. right now everything is vague with how the trial
will go and who is supporting who, so i think that’s why the panels are mostly just pretty art rather than funnier minis of characters!
