The towns people made the rule to not steal cause the first priority of meds goes to those who leave and risk their lives outside the town. Which seemed to be made after there was a shortage and one of those guys died. Guess its more of a "Hey those people worked hard for the meds but can't even use them in their time of need" which is really horrible cause medicine is needed no matter what.
I agree with this 100% but lets also not forget this takes place in an apocalypse so naturally there will always be a shortage
pharmacist here, if the storing is ideal
(which isn't in most cases, especially here) it can live up to 6 months even after expiration date (plus I don't think anyone can be picky during an apocalypse)
A lot of meds do not expire tho, it may become just less efficient
Why is he even saving up the medication, meds are for sick people not for letting them expire in a storage
