She understands she's not a priority, ML made that very clear right when he said 'What difference does it make if I tell you or not?'. FL isn't expecting him to put her a priority over his family issues or personal life, but as his girlfriend, she should at least KNOW what's going on in his life. This is the bare minimum of being in a relationship. If this was reversed and FL kept this to herself, ML would 100% get upset too.
I am sorry, i know this is a shojo and I should not be too literal because it is a book ; but your boyfriend’s dad just had a heart attack, you are not the priority, even if he is going abroad and stuff just be here for him first, then the rest you can talk later :| details like that makes the character less lovable I think, it’s a pity
