In the end, they have to be evacuated because the earthquake is getting worse. When they arrived at the tunnel, the elevator had to be handled manually so the older brother shoved the MC inside the elevator and chose to sacrifice himself for the MC and his younger brother but the younger brother knocked him out because he didn't want to leave without his older brother so he cranked the mc alone to the surface while he and his brother stay trapped inside the sinkhole together.
I'm sobbing like a toddler in my workplace after finishing the story cus damn I feel bad for the mc cuz he basically helpless without them
