I just finished it and I'm also disappointed that we didn't see him get praise for his own work
yes like ofc i wasnt expecting him to suddenly be on par with mibu especially when one is a professional while tsutsumi hasnt been doing it beyond a hobby the last ten years. but i wanted him to at least be proud of his work and find something in his photography that makes him happy personally too, but we never got that closure at all and the issue was barely glazed over.
So trueee it was glazed with some I love you haha
it was okay i guess. but i dont really think the issue with his inferiority complex was even resolved? like i can just see this whole cycle repeating over and over each time mibu gets praised while he doesnt. that would just be an exhausting relationship; it'll just drain the life out of you
