Ido did the same thing even in the second timeline, I'm actually scared rn but I keep comforting myself that Ido then could've catch feelings for Sejin. I mean how did he find out Sejin's preferences? Who taught Ido french? (could be Sejin) Who did Ido go with to Han river before Sejin? (could be Sejin too) Why did Sejin immediately taught of that specific painting of Monet when he haven't seen it before? (Ido could have brought it for him before or idk, there's still no answer 4 that) Lastly, why would Ido go after Sejin after Sejin offed himself?, maybe, JUST maybe, he fell in love at Sejin too late or realized too late. Well, all I know for myself that comforts for this season is Ido will fall for Sejin. But I know before he falls, he'll do terrible things to Sejin first, making him regret everything.

I think more than one timeline happened because in season 1 sejin kept having nightmares of different past times. Maybe Ido tried different things only to end up having sejin suffer and die in different ways in different timelines. Yes he did end up falling for him a little to late. I also think Ido was the only 1 experiencing the restart of different timelines and him experiencing sejin died in front of him multiple times set trauma so bad that he didn't want to do anything else except see Sejin happy in the current timeline that why he's was set on pushing him away.
( my opinion Ido realised a little to late how he f**ked up with sejin. My poor Sejin has timeline trauma burned on his soul. )

I really like this idea and I never thought of it like that. It’s like Groundhog Day purgatory.

OMG you could be right!! I remember Ido said "I see, so this method has failed again." something like that! Idk what chapter but I'm pretty sure he said that. Ido saying again, means he'd done multiple methods, so you saying it isn't just more than one timeline literally make sense. I can't wait to find out (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
