I honestly don’t understand why the author is sidelining the first couple, who are actually wholesome and genuinely sweet, and instead focusing on this other pair whose entire dynamic is built on coercion. He Tian is constantly being forceful and overbearing with Xiao Mo and even though Xiao Mo seems to have warmed up to him, it still feels completely one-sided. He comes off as a total jerk and a bully, yet somehow gets a free pass just because he’s rich and attractive. It’s frustrating. I can’t forget how much he harassed Xiao Mo in the beginning and he’s still doing it. I genuinely love this Manhua but get the ick whenever I see He Tian basically taking advantage of his circumstances. Sigh.
