They used to be the imperial guard with a unique swordstyle and the empress accused them of something (can’t remember too) and their house fell. All of them (or just the males I think) had their dominant hand cut off so they can’t use the sword again.
The Empress and her family along with the Emperor framed the brown family of having a lot of knights which was treason. So the whole brown family died, the only survivors was the Roxannae and her father who had his arm amputated. Due to being labeled as a treasonous family their honor is in the gutter. The browns land was confiscated and given to the Empress family since they helped subdue a treasonous family. Now to reestablish their honor Roxannes father ask for the lambordis help, specifically Rulik(Lulik idk his name) help. But Rulik recommended Tia, although the brown were doubtful they still accepted since it was better than nothing. To re establish their honor the brown family following Tias plan. Which was that Roxanne was to establish her name in the hunting competition exhabiting the browns swordsmanship tecknique then at the same time while all the attention is on her she is supposed to make the browns family secret swordsmanship available for anyone to learn and use.
And I forgot they forged some letters as if they were ordering some shields and swords in bulk, as if they were going to war.
It's been a while so I can't remember... what was the story about the Brown family ? I remember that is was her grandfather who asked Tia to help them and there was something about fallen honor, and the empress maybe?? Not sure about that... Can someone help me remember please (￣∇￣")
