Lmfao rou haters unite

I've found my people, been a rou hater since volume 1. They should just break up, rou can be with the guy he'd go for in a heartbeat and yoshino can find a man who isn't a manipulative, lovebombing narcissist with zero boundaries nor respect for his partner.

Seriously, for those who think rou is just dumb and too nice, go back and read volume 1 where he explicitly lays out how he manipulated every single person he ever dated including yoshino (it just didn't work on him) and rightfully got called trash for it by angel sui who is seemingly the only character in the entire story that has both a brain and a backbone. Rou is perceptive af to other people's feelings, he just didn't gaf about yoshino until yoshino did something too big to ignore, getting hammered and possibly taken home by another man which I wish happened because rou deserves a taste of his own medicine and he never got it.

For fuck's sake, when yoshino has that thing about wanting to pleasure him in fear that he'll get mad or leave him, he makes it about himself saying, "I'm not the kind of guy who'd do that to you :"(" when mf yes you are!!! That's exactly the type of guy you are, yes!!! That's literally what he did to every single person he dated before yoshino so wtf else is he supposed to think? He knows rou deliberately manipulated people into thinking he liked them and fed into their attachment to him only to not actually gaf about them the whole time so how is he supposed to believe he's being fr this time and won't just leave when he feels bored? When he literally tried the exact same tactics on yoshino that he did on all those other people? And he has the nerveee to turn it around on yoshino and make HIM apologise in that moment??? For what, making him feel bad for being a piece of shit???

The worst part of this is yoshino actually, mf has zero growth in all 2 volumes like stand up for fuck's sake and stop letting this guy walk all over you. Even rou thinks yoshino should get more mad at him instead of being fucking grateful to him for dating him like omg stop please you're making me mentally ill, sweetie you are the prize stop being grateful to a man who treats you like dog shit and find one who worships the ground you walk on like you deserve, you beautiful cream puff.

It was honestly so sad how yoshino rightfully feels anxious and upset by his bf spending the night at some random ass coworker's house knowing that he's not only gay but also was having an affair with a man with a wife and kids, if this mf is willing to spread his legs to a married man, how is yoshino supposed to feel about his bf sleeping over, cooking for him, comforting him in his time of need? And yet he doubts his own right to feel upset about it, wishing he had more experience in relationships so he knows what appropriate boundaries are and I wish he did too! So break up! And date some more people who aren't this slimeball and maybe they can get back together when yoshino grows a backbone and rou grows tf up. Until that happens, rou will continue to walk all over yoshino and yoshino will accept it with a smile. Happy ending I guess?

No but fr I'm not actually against the potential cheating angst IF the execution is satisfying and this just missed the mark. The characters experienced no growth from start to finish, like a rehash of the problems from volume one but worse. I agree with other comments in that the pacing was off, toooo much focus on rou practically seducing this random guy we're supposed to care about all of a sudden (who gives us no reason to honestly he's an asshole) while yoshino the character we actually like is relegated to the background to be sad and pathetic. At least he looked good in the sparse few pages he actually showed up on I guess.
