Agreed. Like.. atp, it's annoying. She keeps thinking "what is she up to?" So YOU do know(or at least sense), that ur best friend is acting suspicious.. but somehow ur still keeping her by ur side??
I do get it if she's doing to keep watch of her bestie.. but gurl, ur alrdy leaving/ditching her by herself a lot of the times, why can't u just say it upfront??? She's so worried of her family business, but that doesn't make sense, cuz having a business is a big deal, so does having a little falling out between teens enough for the business to fail??? It's a big loss for both parties. I've noticed that this manhwa is just rlly shallow, so I just try to not think. But sometimes it's hard, cuz wdym the prince who has suffered since childhood, suddenly fell for a woman cuz she said something SUS??? Not only that, they made such a big deal out of the "your so different!!!" to the mc, that it felt so cringey lol
And the sister in-law too... Her character cringed me so bad, not her going "you can even kill me", like ggurrllll such a freaking mood killer. Why did the author even think that was cool?? She was alrdy cool enough!!!! Don't make her a suicidal psychopath just for the guys she "raised". Idk, I just hope we get a background story as to why she's behaving this way towards the ml, but if nothing grand happened.. and she's just extremely loyal(??) to the point of sacrificing herself... Get her to the mental hospital, quick.

She remains a doormat despite her intelligence. She doesn't know how to say no, makes stupid choices, and allows herself to be mistreated by her so-called best friend. (Explaining the situation to her parents would have been enough to prevent from spending any time with her.)
On the other hand, the prince's shyness is really cute.
