Why do we keep drugging are raping. It adds nothing to the story and is just frustrating??

Sadly I find also that authors in recent years also uses this as if its a plot twist, where in reality the way they use it feels like they think its a fun enjoyable activity to have in their stories! Which is disgusting and ruin the stories for me! After that when ppl complain they edit it out and delete the scene, like why use it from the start! The trauma is already in!
