So Captain Morality, do you jump up in the middle of movies and yell that a murder is happening? Or a kidnapping? Because the childish way you’re behaving about a plot nobody forced you to read is quite literally disgusting and annoying. You’re 100% responsible for curating the content you read. Why make that everyone else’s problem? I don’t get why people like you do this unless you (a) have unresolved trauma or (b) you desperately need people to think that you’re a good person. FYI, these fantasy stories aren’t real. Most sane people aren’t reading a story about a god and and tribal sacrifice with the weird expectation of real-life human rights being respected. So, in this instance, YOU’RE the weird one. I need you to know that. Internalize this and carry it into your future so you can stop being annoying. Your personal feelings are valid, but they have NOTHING to do with anyone else. Remove yourself and stop trying to make people feel as disturbed as you feel.

I do not personally fault you for enjoying what I do not, so don't try and make me sound like a terrible person for not enjoying what you do.

The fact that your takeaways are (a)that I assumed you knew there was a rape scene and wanted to read it and (b)that I must enjoy rape b/c rape is a good thing, are both proof positive that you aren’t a strong or capable reader. To be clear, I didn’t say anything in defense of rape, and I didn’t put you in any position to defend being against rape. That’s your lack of reading comprehension rearing its ugly head at an inopportune moment. All that other stuff is you trying to bounce back from being called annoying, and trying to project how it made you feel bad and butthurt onto me. I considered apologizing, but then you had to lean into being even more annoying, so now I mostly feel vindicated about it.
