it's a mistranslation, i think the previous translator took the original sentence quite literally and the words came out like that. i checked the raws & the mc is supposed to say "Wow... a fish I'm seeing for the first time. (which refers to the kind of species)"
but they mistranslated it as "Wow... my first time seeing a fish."

The whole point of me not wanting to read something with such an unbelievable and stupid translation is that I don't want to read something with such a unbelievable and stupid translation. Stop telling me it's a mistranslation. I understand what it is.
I don't care that it's a mistranslation. It shows that the translator is putting zero effort into this and has no understanding of Korea and Korean culture or English.
I don't want to read something that's terribly translated. I wish the translator good luck and I hope they continue to grow their skills.
I was going to read this until I started the first chapter and there's a scene where the MC says "Wow... My first time seeing a fish..."
Is this a joke? The MC is an intern. Interns aren't going into their internships without any training. Someone going into zoology would absolutely have seen fish before, well before they start their internships. Also, this is a grown man living in Korea. Korea is a peninsula and well-known for their seafood. There's fish everywhere.
