hi, dont feel guilty. im sure if you knew, you wouldve told your mother to go as soon as possible. you didnt and neither did she. our illnesses can get worse without us ever knowing, sometimes without even an alarming symptom, and we only realize it when it's too late. this happened to my grandmother as well. my mother felt guilty for not helping my grandmother sooner. sending you all the love and peace.
i get the guilt he’s feeling. i have a similar situation. i lost my mom on january 5, 2025. she was sick and she got worse and she went in too late. doctors did everything they could but sadly it was too late she was in septic shock. i do feel responsible bc that thursday she wanted to go to the ER when we got home but me being a spoiled brat i wanted to go home bc i was restless and in the car all day. so we did and she kept putting it off and kept saying she would go on January 6 at her checkup with her provider. everyone tells me it’s not my fault but i can’t help but feel responsible. again my situation isn’t the same as his but i get how he feels. anyway
