I don't really like when they use this trope of one guy being in love (and not liking or having a crush, but love) with the others for literal years after meeting with him once as a kid/teen, with barely any interaction at all. It just makes no sense and makes it totally unrealistic and cheesy. Also, it takes away from the depth of the story because we don't get to see why and how he fell in love with the other, we just have to accept that he loves him since that one encounter years ago. I hope the plot gains some more depth and becomes more intriguing soon
Are you referring to Coach Lee? Because Ch. 12 explains the reason why he 'falls in love' with Woogyun. Coach Lee is clearly infatuated and smitten here. And realistically, this kind of instance happens.

right. people have crushes without even a single interaction with their crushes all the time. parasocial relationships are also a good example

I mean, it kinda doesn't. It shows one interaction lol
Sure! They don't last years though, or even if they do, they are not love, but a crush instead. Laurae
they often do last years, and by that point, why not just call it love? it matters enough for someone to last a long time even without significant progress in the relationship. coach lee may be more in love with the idea of woogyun, but i don't see any reason to downplay his infatuation.

Ahah okay, I guess we just have very different points of view, it's fine! I was just stating my opinion :)
