Nothing had been clarify about the fake mistress. Never properly apologize. The fact Chloe forgave him so easily after meeting again pissed me so bad. Sure it was cool the plan and all but I don't feel the gut wrenching from Damien longing for her. I skip to the end after they sleep together after the reunion. Chloe doesn't push him enough. Sure they said it been a year but I don't feel that as reader. Feel like it too easy for Damien to swoop in Chloe again after. She easily give in. Feel like everything goes like Damien plan. Man, I just need a story where the ML grovel hards. Not this. The art are so damn pretty tho. Damien is hot but that's all I guess.
