Coming back to this and man, I know the MC's mom want her daughter to marry so she won't be alone or called sphincter from her heart but it annoyed me that it seem to be the reason why she was kind of blind to see that ugly ass merchant dude being a bad sign at the start and even kinda guilt tripped MC into even meeting him when MC said she doesn't want to, and also that the prince will never marry MC comment kinda ticked me off. She could've said it in a more appropriate way if she was talking about MC's age or social standing.
