If i remember correctly, both had something to do with grandpa and memories but the plot is different. Its like same same but different kind of thing if you get what I mean.

Not really. The only common thing is the memory loss. In summary Mc has self esteem problems due to family trauma. Mc and ml end up meeting again (known each other from HS) as boss-subordinate but ml doesn't remember mc after a car accident. Gets curious about mc and tries to recover his memories.
ML lives with his grandpa. He is very supportive btw.
