I think it was valid if you look at the context. Uke dumped him for not being an omega like their whole relationship was nothing more than that. Then after all that happened uke again says something along the lines of “anyone would be fine for me it doesn't have to be you”. It wasn't about using him but not choosing him again and just going with the flow like it didn't matter at all.
