No he doesn’t??? Lmao Batman’s whole thing is the fact that you can die in Gotham for breaking a small law as littering infront of the the bat. It’s Superman that has the no kill rule

??? Batman HAS a no-kill rule although it isn't absolute, he does a lot to prevent killing bad guys but ultimately if it's for the better that's when he kills. Idk wtf ur talking abt "you can die for breaking a small law in gotham"

Nope! Batman will beat criminals up and put them in the hospital with several broken bones and severe injuries but will generally not kill. It is what makes his conflict with the joker so juicy. In the heath ledger movie the joker literally dares batman to kill him as that would be a breaking of his moral code and so the joker would win.
If you are curious then you can search google "does batman kill"

His no kill rule only really extends to major villains hence it doesn't really uphold anyways. Its a running gag in the dc fan area that gotham is only upheld because Batman is known to be so ruthless. You can mess up slightly and be put on a tshirt while the Joker can exterminate half the universe and just be sent to Arkham.

I don't want to be a huge history buff but there are only 2 iterations of batman that ACTUALLY upheld or even really touted the no killing rule. Most iterations of batman (batmen??? plural??) have killed like SEVERAL times both in movie and comic. Ok goodbye I sound like a nerd </3

Superman doesn't have a no kill rule, there's this comic where joker causes havock in Metropolis and Batman didn't stop him/kill him so Superman did. He would prefer not to kill but would if he had to

It's so funny how I caused this mini argument over Batman having a no kill rule or not, and I don't for sure about his no kill rule bc all I know about Batman comes from reading SuperBat and BatFam fanfics
