To me it’s basically always a no if one of the parties is groomed. With bottom groomers, authors usually try to make them look all innocent, which is what bothers me a lot.

It can't be misandry or homophobia because it's two men regardless. I think it has more to do with how the relationship is portrayed. Here it sounds really odd how the older one is being intimate with him and helping him out even when he was a child. But the older uke ones I know or ever heard of always consisted of the older one caring for the younger, while the younger one develops the feelings and obsessiveness which he acts on after he grows. That's not how this is portrayed, it's clear that the older seme here took advantage of the ukes age to get him attached to him, this bad intention is not something you find with the works of age switch manhwas, probably to keep the uke the innocent ones. Blame the authors or moreover, don't blame anyone, who are we gonna blame anyway

A lot of times I've seen people justifying the bottom groomers sayin 'o! he reared him up as his brother or what not, his intentions blah blah' but tbh theirs intentions always seemed sketchy to me no matter how innocent author wants to make them bcuz i've analyzed the groomer top and the groomer bottom has completely different behaviour but the community here only makes deal out of tops. I mean most of us here women reading them I can get why they pissed but sometimes they be over using the grooming word on tops while completely ignoring bottom groomers.
What really makes me sad is that the community would not be upset about this super obvious grooming if the guide was the top. There are countless, literally countless, manhwa where the child is the top and everyone thinks that's fine. It turns out the community only sees grooming when the child is the bottom. Is that homophobia or misandry?
