In the novel Killian's broter did go into seclusion in the mansion not somewhere else. then he accepted that Reese was fucked up and remarried a brunette. But in the manhwa he went after looking for Rhyse. IN THE NOVEL REESE WASN'T EVEN LIKE THAT, SHE SPLURGED THE DUKE'S MONEY AND PARTIED THEN THE PRINCESS CUT HER OFF as a friend, then she was sent to prison then to the convent.
In the manhwa it shows reese was back to her original form (which didn't actually happen in the novel) She was originally still the fucked up reese.
The latest scene of Killian's brother was he was walking into the forest and never seen again.

I personally think they made the right decision by giving the manhwa a different epilogue because the novel's ending
sounds pretty cliche.
And Killian's brother going after the author leaves room for more side stories, that is if they plan to show us. It'll be quite interesting to see what will happen when he meet the author in her orginal body. Maybe they can also get their own twisted happy ending
I love this one so much. Im still bothered with the fact the manhwa and novel is very different. In the manhwa Killian's brother disappeared in thin air, while in the manhwa he just went into seclusion in his room too depress due to what happened to his lover.
