I think the emo guy just pretends he wants Haesoo to "decide" and "think" for herself, but in reality, he's subtly manipulating her into choosing what he wants. He’s just influencing her decisions while making it seem like they're her own.
And also I think he’s tormenting the orange guy as revenge for Haesoo lol

I mean, all of his actions are that of a manipulator , everything he does is calculated to appear caring, but it’s really about control. He acts like he’s protecting her when he’s really just feeding his own emotions. Even his 'revenge' on the orange guy is about his own need to feel important in haesoos life.

Just finished reading the latest ch in another site (sorry scanlators but I can’t wait haha) but what even was the point? I feel like there’s really more into the characters than what we’ve been told. Hae soo don’t even give a shit about orange anymore so why is emo so keen on provoking orange? Also Emo could just manipulate hae soo (what he has been doing all this damn time) and ask her to move somewhere else with him. Go far away from orange and live their bestest life away from all this drama.
The provocation and making orange feel like shit just feels so weird unless they have generational beef (past life theory).
