I HATE when they add someone new into the mix for more drama. He JUST SAID, “a loveless marriage is terrible” and her stupid ass is just, “hm, well ’’’’I’’’’ love him so that makes it ok right? That means we can get married cuz I love you.”
Also it just didn’t even make sense what he said! They both loved each other, it’s just his duty to his house (that his guardian drilled into his head) overshadowed his love while hers dimmed because of it.
This plot line never works because what if she did succeed, what if she chased his wife away or killed her. Would he really accept you, the person who did the deed? No. It’s pointless.
