Cause let's be real titles like that can be a huge misunderstanding sometimes and the story ends up being the opposite of it, like I avoid any bl and story in general if it includes affairs and a sweet relationship gone bad and cheating and abuse and stuff cause that sht low-key makes my soul ache so when I accidentally read one of them cause I dont read the summary of the story to avoid spoilers or making me bored, I end up not reading anything for a long ass time cause I get depressed and angsty a hollow afterwards yk, but there are some exceptions but very rarley mb for the rambling just had to get that out there phew (〜￣△￣)〜
In the sense of this volume, it seems like a bad title because I think it could make you believe that Rou accidentally fell in love with Niko, but I think it actually refers to the first volume in a lighter sense. Yoshino was a 30-year-old virgin on his birthday and goes to a gay bar, just wanting to be held by someone and didn't expect to fall hard for Rou. Same goes for Rou, he always had noticed Yoshino at the train station and never expected him to come to HIS gay bar and make him catch feelings as quickly after their one night stand, he even tried to resist and act cool, but they both confessed.
omg i totally thought that too but the first volume has the exact same title “didnt mean to fall in love” (it’s just not in english) which makes sense bc in that volume his love came unexpectedly (referring to the ml and the mc) and so this one is just “didn’t mean to fall in love: volume 2”! but i totally get how that could lead to a misunderstanding hahah

Is it just me but I hate anything with the titles like "I didnt mean to fall in love" idk but that sht makes me bitter asf and salty and angsty in the worse way possible like I trusted my gut when I started reading it thinking it would he cute despite the name although I was genuinely concerned cause I didnt know whether the title was serious or not and I didn't know what to expect from the story but nether the less it was super fckin cute and I love it but the name hated it with a passion ╥﹏╥
