I did think that too, but I thought she wasn't gonna wake up during the 3days for some reason, (im also assuming the longer they take to make that decision the lower the chances of her surviving are) which is why I was dumbfounded why they were taking so long to decide (especially since right before this she was in total agreement about using the stone to some how save her life)
BUT the chapter right after this does explain how she wanted the gift to create, not just draw, which is why he didnt wanna take it away so I totally understood his thought process better (and honestly im just happy she woke up and was able to make the decision herself [kind of haha])

I get the whole "what if she wants to die as humanly as possible" but
A) let's be real bestie, she's too possessive to be upset about spending more time with u, and
B) SHES LITERALLY ABOUT TO DIE, death is death, her dying as humanly as possible (which she never stated she wanted) doesn't change the fact that's she's gonna die, having the stone only gives her a possibility to prolong her life
