Yeah, but I assume the ending leaving you wanting more was the authors plan. I mean, in the end, Shion still heavily relies on his master, even though he died. He doesn't end up loving Noshi more, and Noshi is left wanting more from him. The same way Shion felt for his master, it's a cycle.
I do wanna see more of this but I do understand why it ended this way. And maybe the author had planned for a second season, or for some extras but never got to it?
