My thoughts exactly. I don’t usually like slice of life bc I also get bored of it (ie cherry blossoms after winter got boring to me when they started working), but this is different bc they’ve already been through so much before this and there’s already been a lot of intricate plotting. This feels like the season where they can just breath and we can watch them be happy. The only thing I’ll agree with is that there were some major plot points that got abandoned (like wtf happened to his 2 brothers, the dragon, the other bastards, the abandoned, his orphan friends that we never saw again, better explanation of the magic system etc).
But at the same time, these two have been through a lot, and seeing them build their kingdom together is pretty satisfying after everything they went through to get here, even if it is mundane.
Man, ik some people are bored of the whole day to day lives of running the kingdom and honestly some parts of it are meh (the pink haired girlie with the weird uniform and her guy rival is alright but skippable) but tbh after all the fucking shit shin and wolfgang went through in the 1st szn and 2nd szn (pedo king and shin getting tortured respectively) its so nice to just see them being little sillies, building the kingdom theyve been dreaming since they were preteens
