sorry if this sounds dumb i just finished the prequel and i need a bit of clarification.
so if i understood correctly ranon did not make the last wish? but why? im confused how it transitioned to gold offering him a wager that he must live for 1000 yrs to end the punishment. why could he just not wish to just end it? did he kill ayna at the end or did she just die? the last chapter of the prequel is the only one ididnt understand well. thanks in advance!
