I really enjoyed this story. It was very happy but equally heart wrenching. I had absolutely no idea in which direction this story was headed when I started reading it. It broke my heart to see all the abuse of power and physical/psychological abuse many of the characters were going through. I think the most heartbreaking thing though was how insensitive and cruel the ‘bystanders’ were. No one spoke up in defense of others or they would gossip believing they weren’t doing anything wrong because they weren’t the direct ‘perpetrators’ (like the media). I wonder if the reason they avoided explicit sex scenes was due to the abusive relationships in the story or if this is just the r15 version?? I haven’t looked it up. I would like to believe it’s the former. I loved the story but I also wished they had gone into more detail regarding the interactions between the characters. It felt as though the author only had a set limited amount of chapters to try to get the whole story out in. I hope one day they come out with some side chapters to help complete the story. I would’ve loved to see how Sunwoo’s documentaries go and see him and Hyunwoo live their dreams out together, Jungmin get some psychiatric help as well as punishment for the things he’s done, and Taesung’s life outside of the kpop industry.
