One of the reasons I rarely consider reading romance is that most of it is so poorly represented and embarrassing that it's sickening. They don't seem to have an ounce of value, self-love, pride, they only exist as embarrassed doors that exist to be obsessed with men and that's it.
Sometimes I give them a chance in the hope that they will change, but...
They always portray their women desperate for a man.. like they are born without pride and valueless
