She is only a year older and she shaped him to be a tyrant and notice her so she could use him for revenge. Not really grooming. Also there’s many chapters that go through their own little crisis of do I really love this person or is it just so-and-so? like they’re fully aware of how they got there. I think people are just being extra. Definitely no grooming. Good read. Really had me on my toes.
Spoiler: also want to point out that no real romance starts until they're both adults and after she tries getting him a wife. Like she literally had no feelings toward this man until he actively pursued her and got her to drop her walls and actually feel emotions. And at this point he's a grown ass man who knows what he is going and mentally fully aware that he's a little toxic. Y'all didn't even read anything obviously.
